Regarding the HR 10 A series, there is a boss (triangular pyramid recess) on the clamp fitting, is it necessary to align and tighten the locking screw (hex set screw) on this boss?
You need to tighten the clamp by aligning the screw with the recess of the clamp fitting.
When a load is applied to the cable,
the fitting is not caught in the screw tip and pulled out.
